Finance Department

The Finance Department has several roles including accounts payable/receivable, accounting, payroll, budget preparation, administration, and reporting. The Department also directs the utility payments, handles the telephone system and receives the public. It works closely with the City Manager.



Annette Cooper is the City of Lovington Treasurer/Finance Director. Annette oversees all Finance operations for the City of Lovington. Annette works with the State of New Mexico, the City's Auditor, and Consulting Accountants to submit reports and the annual audit. Also in the Finance Department is Deputy Treasurer, Melissa Tice and Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk, Ofelia Gomez.
