The Lovington Senior Citizen Center is a municipal facility located at 18 West Avenue F, Lovington, NM, that provides service to patrons of age 60 and over. We offer a variety of programs and activities in a social environment aimed for you. We strive to provide support and the tools necessary to assist our aging community with maintaining independent living. We promote healthy living and encourage all to enjoy each day!
These are some of the activities and services offered by the Senior Citizen Center:
- Transportation service within our community
- Noon luncheon each Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- Home delivered meals for homebound, qualifying patrons
- Knitting and Crochet every Wednesday at 10 A.M.
- Game Night at Tuesday at 5 P.M.
- Luncheon provided by Nor Lea Hospital the 1st Tuesday of every month
- Hearing aid service and assistance provided by Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid Center the last Wednesday of every month
- Exercise equipment room
- Library area

Fay Ferguson is a long-time resident of Lovington, having made the city her home since 1985. Over the years, she has become an integral part of the community, dedicating herself to serving the needs of others.
For the past decade, Fay has been working for the city of Lovington. She started as a Clerk for the Senior Citizen Center, where she quickly demonstrated her strong work ethic and dedication to the job. Her exceptional performance led to her being promoted to Interim Director, and she excelled in that role as well. Recognizing her talent and hard work, the city made Fay the Director of the Senior Center, a position she has held for the past year. In this role, she has continued to demonstrate her commitment to serving the needs of the city's senior citizens. Fay is passionate about her work and takes great pride in providing services that make a difference in the lives of others. Fay is respected and admired by her colleagues and the community at large. She is known for her professionalism, dedication, and kindness. Her positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty have earned her the trust and respect of all who know her. Fay is a shining example of what it means to be a public servant, and her contributions to the community of Lovington are immeasurable. |
