Zoning regulations can be complex. Planning a new home, business, a simple addition, carports or a fence require planning as well as potentially needing State permits.
The City of Lovington Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for the administration of the City land use policies, permits and zoning regulations. Our goal is to offer consistent, courteous, high quality services to the citizens and business community of the City of Lovington. We assist applicants with the construction permit process using a partnership approach to ensure accurate and consistent plan review, floodplain management, permit issuance, compliance with adopted State of New Mexico construction codes, and CID required permitting. We strive to provide the highest possible level of customer service with all of your planning and zoning needs.
